Kampung2 di Singapore

Papinka mo cerita ttg kampung2 yg ada di SG, sebenarnya sih bukan kampung beneran ya karena Singapore kan gak punya kota lain selain ya Singapore ini aja.

Yg dimaksud kampung sama gw itu tempat2 yg mempunyai ciri khusus seperti chinatown(kampung cina),Arab St.(kampung Arab),Payah lebar(kampung melayu)dan little India (kampung india) tadi yg gw sempat difoto cuma 3 kampung aja, little india lupa bawa camera trs pas lg disana tar lain kali kalau kesana gw jepret n posting
sekarang liat YANG DISINI aja dulu ya....

Powerful Indonesia quake kills at least 70

A powerful earthquake struck the Indonesian island of Sumatra on Tuesday, killing at least 70 people, flattening buildings and sparking panic in the streets of Malaysia and Singapore.

Officials said the death toll was expected to rise in the latest catastrophe to hit the beleaguered nation, and hospitals were quickly overwhelmed with the rush of wounded. Many people were feared to be trapped under rubble.

Communication was cut off with much of the area close to the epicentre of the 6.3-magnitude quake so there was no immediate way of knowing the extent of the damage there, they said.

But elsewhere doctors were forced to set up shop outdoors, running drips for the injured and working in hastily erected tents. Television showed staff at the main hospital in Padang city scrambling in chaos to cope with the wounded.

"So far 70 people were reported dead in various places and scores injured," said Sudi Silalahi, a spokesman for President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

He said the president may go to the disaster site and had ordered police, military, local authorities and government ministers to coordinate to do all they could to bring relief to the stricken areas.

Officials said many people had broken bones and open wounds, and some had suffered head injuries.

"There are hundreds of victims," the mayor of Solok, a rice-farming area of about 50,000 people close to the epicentre, told ElShinta radio.

"We have asked for medical help," said the mayor, Samsurahim, who goes by one name. "Our facilities here are insufficient."

The quake struck at 10:49 am (0349 GMT), the US Geological Survey said, 49 kilometres (30 miles) northeast of Padang, the capital of West Sumatra.

Many people were trapped in collapsed buildings and there was no official information about the situation at the quake's epicentre because phone lines were down, Utjin Sudiana, West Sumatra's police chief, told AFP.

"The epicentre is in Batusangkar but communication is disconnected from there so we don't know what the damage is," he said. The town is about 50 kilometres from Padang.

The devastating Asian tsunami in 2004 was set off by a massive earthquake off the coast of Sumatra, and Tuesday's quake sparked a panic on the Indonesian island and across the region.

In Singapore, which is rarely hit by quakes, hundreds of people cleared out of their office skyscrapers and raced into the streets -- some of them weeping and screaming -- when the ground started to tremble.

"We grabbed our bags and just evacuated," office worker Nicholas Wong told local radio. "Everyone was panicking. One of my colleagues was crying because she had never felt such an effect before."

But there were no reports of any damage in the city-state or in Malaysia, where the quake was also felt.

Indonesia, an archipelago of some 17,000 islands, sits on the so-called Pacific Ring of Fire, where continental plates meet -- and where earthquakes are a regular and often deadly occurrence.

Indonesia was the nation worst hit by the earthquake-triggered Indian Ocean tsunami in December 2004, which killed some 168,000 people in Aceh province on the northern tip of Sumatra.

Some 5,800 people were killed and 33,000 others injured in a massive quake that rocked Java island in May last year. Two months later, another quake on Java killed more than 600

Pesawat Garuda Terbakar dan Terbelah di Bandara Adisucipto

YOGYAKARTA, KOMPAS – Pesawat Boing 737 seri 400 Garuda Indonesia dengan nomor penerbangan GA 200 dari Jakarta menuju Yogyakarta, terbakar di Bandara Adisucioto, Yogyakarta, Rabu (7/3) pukul 06.50. Pesawat itu terbakar sesaat setelah mendarat di landasan di bandara tersebut.

Wartawan Kompas, Hariadi Saptono yang berada di Bandara Adisucipto dan hendak berangkat ke Jakarta menyaksikan kejadian tersebut sejak roda pesawat menyentuh landasan. Ia menyaksikan pesawat terhentak ketika roda menyentuh landasan dari arah barat.

Setelah itu, ketika pesawat mencapai 1/3 landasan tiba-tiba tampak api keluar dari bagian roda pesawat. Bahkan setelah pesawat mencapai sekitar 2/3 landasan, api membesar. Badan pesawat kemudian meluncur keluar landasan hingga sekitar 300 meter dari ujung landasan.

Dari kejadian tersebut, kedua mesin pesawat tampak lepas dan tertinggal sekitar 25 meter dari badan pesawat. Dari badan pesawat tersebut, tampak yang tersisa hanya bagian ekor pesawat.

Para penumpang dan pengantar maupun penunggu di bandara, tampak panik, banyak yang menbangis menyaksikan kecelakaan tersebut. Belum diperoleh laporan adanya korban dalam musibah tersebut.

Pesawat Terbelah

Kondisi pesawat terlihat sangat mengenaskan. Badan pesawat terbelah memanjang dari bagian kabin pilot hingga ke ekor pesawat. Sementara salah satu sayap pecah dan terbelah, dengan posisi turbo pesawat terlepas.

Posisi pesawat pun sudah menyimpang dari landas pacu bandara bandara Adi Sucipto, di areal persawahan sebelah timur landas pacu. Sejumlah wartawan saat ini dihalau keluar dari garis polisi, setelah sebelumnya sempat bisa mendekat ke badan pesawat. (wer)


Garuda Indonesia jet burns after airport crash

JAKARTA (Reuters) - A jet from Indonesia's state carrier Garuda crashed and burst into flames on landing at Yogyakarta airport on Wednesday morning with 140 passengers and crew on board, according to Garuda officials

Casualties were not immediately clear, but survivors said many people had escaped the burning plane.

"The manifest shows 133 passengers and we have seven active crew on board," a Garuda spokeswoman told Reuters.

Australian media said the plane's passengers included Australian journalists and diplomatic staff. The journalists had been covering a visit to Indonesia by Foreign Minister Alexander Downer, who was not on the plane but had been expected in Yogyakarta later in the day.

"It happened when it overshot beyond the runway and burst into flames," Yogyakarta provincial secretary Bambang Susanto told Reuters through texted messages.

"... we know that there are passengers being treated at the air force hospital," he added. Elshinta news radio said 16 injured people had been taken to hospital.

"The plane overshot the runway during landing and hit the airport fences," Julianto, one of the survivors, told Metro TV

"I was sitting at the back of the plane and people started to jump out of the plane after that. Some even jumped into the paddy field," he said.

The plane's fuselage was burned to a twisted shell, and thick white smoke spewed from the wreckage.

State news agency Antara said the flight number was GA-200, which would be a Jakarta to Yogyakarta flight that is generally using a Boeing 737.

Indonesia has suffered from a string of transport accidents in recent months, including an Adam Air plane that disappeared in January with 102 passengers and crew on board, and a ferry sinking in late December in which hundreds died.

Rajin Masak n rajin makan ^-^

Hari Kamis kemarin hubby bilang mau ngundang temannya lagi Sabtu ini, gw bilang lagi karena minggu yg lalu jg manggil temannya yg lain.
Sebagai istri yg baik(mujidiridewe.com) gw cuma bilang ok aja pdhl mualas bgt mesti bangun pagi ke pasar untung pasarnya dekat rumah.

So jadilah pagi ini bangun jam 8am barengan hubby ke pasar n minimarket beli bahan2 untuk masak, balik rumah jam 9am trus breakfast lanjut masak2 n kelar jam 11.30am.
Trus temannya dtg jam 1.15pm, lunch mulai 1.30pm sampai kelar2nya ngobrol jam 3pm pulang deh temannya.

Pesan gw sama hubby" honey next week pls don't call anybody cz i want sleep untill 10am." wekekekekekek malas.com dah gw, dia mangut2 aje.
Nah ini dia hasil jeprat jepret gw.
